Website Process

The Startup Street process from start to finish for your website development is broken down into three main aspects; Onboarding, Development and Offboarding.  Each one of these area has been carefully crafted to provide you with the best results possible.

Onboarding Process

Once you’ve decided to Take Action, we get to work. You’ll receive our onboarding folder to upload relevant documents, along with a worksheet to begin filling out.  The team at Startup Street goes to work doing research on your industry and your competitors, compiling a database of websites that we consider to be very well designed and very well organized.  We also begin putting together the initial “website site map”, otherwise known as the most important elements that should be covered on the website.

All of this is done in preparation for our “Kick Off Meeting’, where we sit down and go over all of your goals and objectives, discuss the brand and the services/products, and get a great high level view of what we are about to develop.

The Kick Off meeting is a lot of fun, while also a great deep dive into your company.  It provides both parties incredible insight and usually a lot of other fun ideas to consider for marketing once the website is finished.

Development Process

Once the onboarding portion of your project is completed, Startup Street gets to work and begins developing your website, starting with the homepage and moving to the subpages afterwards.  There’s a couple of check-ins with you along the way to make sure both parties are on the same page, but due to our in-depth onboarding process, this portion is fairly straightforward for you, the client.

Offboarding Process

Your website is completed and ready for review!  Our final meeting consists of a review of the entire website, and if any changes are needed, they are applied and your website is ready to go live.

At this point, your website is looking amazing and overall has come out incredible, but there is still work to do to ensure that the smaller details of the website are tended to.  Every website is ran through a rigorous 50 point checklist to make sure your forms and payments are working, your links are linking and all the other small odds-and-ends that tend to get forgotten about by many agencies.

You’ll receive all of the logins for the project, educational materials and videos, and a website that you can be proud of.

What's Included

You need a website that looks great, organized in a cohesive manner and functions properly.  While that is something you should expect of any website that comes from Startup Street, we go the extra mile with the following items:

Site Security

All websites include installation of the “SSL certificate” for added security and a required feature by most browsers.

Hosting/Domain Support

If you need to pick out a domain, or don’t currently have hosting, it’s not a problem as we can handle that for you.

Google Analytics

Every site comes with Analytics installed. If you don’t have an analytics account, we set it up for you and install, and then provide you the logins.

WP Rocket

Your website needs to be fast, and this software - once installed - does the trick.

Mobile Responsive

Websites need to function just as well on mobile as they do on desktop. All of our websites are 100% responsive on mobile and scroll perfectly.

Quick Contact Buttons

When users are viewing your site on mobile, it’s important that they can either call or contact you as easily as possible. Our “mobile quick contact buttons” achieve just that.

...and many more!

Whether it’s lifestyle shots or headshots, great photography makes a world of difference in website design.

Company Emails

Need to get your (insert name) emails set up?  Startup Street can handle this, preferring to set them up with Google Workspaces, which provides you with all of the features of gmail for a small monthly fee, billed by Google.

Social Media Accounts

You may still need to get a couple – or all – of your social media accounts set up. Startup Street can set them up and make sure your profile and cover pictures are sized correctly, contact information is filled out accordingly and your platforms look professional.

You may need some software that helps you keep track of your customers and prospects, known as a “Customer Relationship Management’ platform.  Startup Street brings ample experience with most major softwares, and can help you not only get set up, but also make sure the CRM is properly synced to your website to assure that leads are automatically entered.

It all starts with a conversation.
